A true “watertight fly box” has been a long time coming. The recessed silicone gasket and fool-proof locking system creates an airtight seal that protects your flies against wet weather, deep wading, and corrosive saltwater. This is truly a premium "small fly" box. 14 rows give you massive storage capabilities. It will hold large dry’s and streamers, but specializes in keeping a large number of small bead-head nymphs and midges as well as small dry’s that you own well organized and in good condition.
These boxes are made of high impact plastic that will take the abuse of years on the water. I have dropped this box on both river rocks and down stairs and neither had any effect on the flies inside. Both the lock and the piano type hinge appear indestructible. The new micro-slit foam technology has been a drastic improvement to fly boxes. Simply slide the hooks into slits in the foam, the foam then holds your barbed and barb-less flies snuggly. Unlike common ripple foam, flies slide out easily when you need them without bending the hook or crushing the hackle. This is truly a great product and I recommend each of you have one in your vest for the upcoming fall hatches.
