Being a Kentucky native I was introduced to the outdoors at a very early age. Whether it was rabbit hunting in the neighborhood or sneaking onto the local golf courses to catch monster bass; I could never spend enough time outside! My Grandfather, Dad, and Uncle would always include me when hunting season rolled around and the memories from camp are unforgettable.

Once I found my passion for hunting, it was the only fixation that occupied my mind. I was at every convention and seminar I could find as well as spending countless hours in front of a TV watching hunting and fishing shows every Saturday. By the time I was sixteen I was volunteering at trade shows and filming for M.A.D Calls. In 1999, I was invited to hunt in Texas where I harvested a nice Rio Grand turkey. The hunt provided great footage and was featured on M.A.D. Calls, "Mastering the Art of Friction Calling". I have made countless connections within the hunting industry and I will never stop learning how to better myself in the outdoors.

There's nothing like fall in Kentucky and I love spending time in the deer stand and in the duck blind, by the time spring rolls around and the turkeys start gobbling my energy is at an all-time high. Sleepless nights and a few sick days from work are only a few of the key ingredients to a successful hunting season!

Over the years I've hunted in several states including AL, TN, MO, TX, KY & IN. I have found the importance of good gear while hunting. From a good pair of socks to the most life like decoys quality pays off at the end of the day. I appreciate the opportunity to promote, teach and spread the good word on FieldJunky.com!
